Assistive Technology Professional

Hi! I’m Anna

Creating meaningful life experiences for others is at the heart of everything I do.

Recognizing Wisconsin’s increasing need for assistive technology services, I founded ATLAS Consultative Services in 2019 to provide independent consultations and professional development. As demand grew, I transitioned from my role as a Lead Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) in an urban school district to focus on serving a wider audience across schools, homes, and community settings.

Through hands-on trials, tailored implementations, and comprehensive training programs, I build direct relationships with the individuals I support. By integrating ergonomics, universal design principles, and assistive technology, I empower people with disabilities to enhance their educational and employment outcomes—helping them achieve their most meaningful life goals.

Beyond my professional work, I live on a farmette in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, with my husband and three young children. I have a passion for reading (both audiobooks and print), traveling, hiking, volleyball, and cross-country skiing—including completing the American Birkebeiner twice! Most of all, I cherish time spent with my family.

How We can help

Assistive Technology (AT) is a powerful tool for breaking down barriers in education and employment. By providing access to specialized tools and strategies, individuals with learning, social, and physical challenges can overcome obstacles and achieve greater success in the classroom and workplace.

From text-to-speech software and braille displays that make written content accessible to individuals with visual impairments to speech recognition software that supports those with limited mobility, assistive technology enables people to engage more fully in their education and careers.

Beyond technology, adaptive methods—such as personalized learning plans, customized workspaces, and ergonomic solutions—play a critical role in fostering independence and professional growth. Because every individual has unique strengths and challenges, identifying the right combination of tools and strategies is essential to unlocking potential.

At ATLAS Consultative Services, we are committed to empowering individuals with tailored solutions that promote inclusivity and ensure equal opportunities in education and employment. Let’s work together to create a more accessible and supportive world.

At ATLAS Consultative Services, we offer the following:

  • Onsite Assistive Technology assessments for individuals receiving services through the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation

  • Training and implementation of recommended assistive technology tools and resources

  • Assistive Technology evaluations, consultations, and occupational therapy resources to staff and students in districts within Wisconsin

  • Coordination with IEP team members to expand Assistive Technology knowledge and support with the acquisition of resources
